We hope you can join us for our annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday Sept. 12th from 6-8pm to kick off the school year! We have extended the deadline to Monday, September 9. So purchase your tickets today so you don't miss out!

September 18 is a half day from school. Take the day off from cooking and have lunch or dinner while helping to raise money for Starkweather! The event will run all day at Pizza Peddler. Must mention Starkweather and 15% of total sales will go back to school.

Yearbook Cover- Calling all 5th Graders!

Show us your CREATIVITY!

Do you like to draw or design and have been waiting for your chance to show us your talent? Well, grab a piece of paper, use a computer, get creative and enter your artwork for a chance to be on the cover of this year's yearbook! This year's theme is "Outer Space." Use your creatively to create something that uses Starkweather values and pulls in a space theme. We can't wait to see your your talent!

Cover contest rules:

Artwork must be completed by a SWS 5th grader but can be down in any medium (including online).
Artwork must represent the 2024-25 theme: Outer Space
Submissions must be made on a 8.5 x 11 piece of white paper. Entries must be vertical orientation. (Mrs. Loveland has paper if you need it!)
The winning design will be selected for the 2024-25 cover! 4 runners' up will be selected for the back cover.
Finished artwork can be brought into school and given to Mrs. Loveland.
Submissions are due by November 1!

This year, we are collecting $30 per child with a cap of $100 per family. To make it easy, we offer several ways to pay dues for you to help support Starkweather:

VENMO: @StarkweatherPTO, VenmoQR to scan with your phone. Look for wolf logo.
SWSMembershipSite to pay online. *This is also how families can add themselves to our school directory to receive emails, class lists and parent contacts (more information on this in a section below).
CASH OR CHECK: Sent into school and made out to Starkweather PTO.

PTO dues in combination with the fundraisers we have allow us to provide for our school. Last year, thanks to great fundraising, we were able to purchase yearbooks for all students.

Starkweather PTO Membership Update

Important: Please visit SWSMembershipSite and download the Membership App to include yourself and gain access to SWS directory, subscribe to our PTO Calendar, get tickets for exclusive PTO events, and more!

New and existing families,

Please follow the steps below to update your information:

If you are new, you need to create an account from your computer. Go to https://starkweatherpto.membershiptoolkit.com/.
Click on the Register/Login button.
In you a new to our membership, select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, then check your spam or junk folders.
Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.
If you already have an account, you can download the app or use the link above; enter your email and password to log in; then, proceed to the numbered steps below.

Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information (*teachers may need to be updated).
Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.
Once these forms are complete, you will be presented with other forms, such as the PTO Membership payment form.
To pay your PTO dues online, simply go to the store and add the number of students to the PTO/Homeroom dues form and then, add to the cart and check out. We thank you for your support!

Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account. Once you complete the steps above, don't forget to use your phone to subscribe to our calendar!
