Starkweather families, we could use your help! As many of you probably saw on the news yesterday, there was a house fire in West Chester.  One of our SWS staff, Ms. Anne Svelling, lost her home in that fire.  What is believed to have been a chimney fire spread quickly and it is a full loss of the home.  As you may be able to imagine, Ms. Svelling is devastated.

We are getting ready for our 2nd Annual Sweetheart and Superheroes Dance on February 28th and are looking for volunteers for the planning committee and for chaperoning! 2nd Annual Sweetheart and Superheroes Dance
February 28: 6:30-8:30 pm

Calling all superheroes and sweethearts. Join us on Friday, February 28 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Starkweather for a fun-filled evening of dancing and fun! This FREE event will feature dancing, and more! 

Event details:Every child/family must have one adult with them for the entire event and adults are responsible for their child(rens) supervision. You must be signed up in order to attend. Registration will be available shortly, so stay-tuned for details.  Due to capacity in the gym, THERE IS ONLY 1 ADULT ALLOWED PER FAMILY. Thank you for understanding!

This year, we are collecting $30 per child with a cap of $100 per family. To make it easy, we offer several ways to pay dues for you to help support Starkweather:


To make it easy we offer several ways to pay for dues: 

  1.  VENMO: @StarkweatherPTO, VenmoQR to scan with your phone. Look for wolf logo.
  2. SWSMembershipSite  to pay online.  *This is also how families can add themselves to our school directory to receive emails, class lists and parent contacts (more information on this in a section below).  
  3. CASH OR CHECK: Sent into school and made out to Starkweather PTO.

PTO dues in combination with the fundraisers we have allow us to provide for our school. Last year, thanks to great fundraising, we were able to purchase yearbooks for all students.
